Julius Fogle, born on December 2, 1971, is an American who used to be a professional boxer. He also worked for the United States Army for 20 years, helping to recruit new soldiers. After his time in the military and boxing, he became a stand-up comedian and wrote a book. His book is about his own life and is called "The Last Round".

Julius Fogle's Boxing Journey
Early Boxing Success
Julius Fogle had a very successful start in boxing as an amateur. He won several important championships. In 2002, he became the national amateur middleweight champion. He also won the United States Challenge in the same year.
Fogle was also a two-time champion in the National Police Athletic League. He won this middleweight title in 1997 and again in 2000. These wins showed he was a strong and skilled boxer.
Olympic Dreams and Military Achievements
Julius Fogle aimed for the Olympics. He qualified for the Olympic Trials in the middleweight division twice, once in 2000 and again in 2004. He was a seven-time gold medalist for the All-Army and Armed Forces teams. This means he was the best boxer among all military branches many times.
In 1997, he won a bronze medal at the World Military Games. He also won the first-ever National Ringside Tournament in 2001. In 2003, he earned a silver medal in the Pan Am Games Qualifier.

Julius Fogle became a professional boxer in 2004. He started in the light heavyweight division. In December 2005, he won a minor title. This was the International Boxing Council Americas Super Middleweight championship. He won it by knocking out Isaiah Henderson in just two rounds.
After this win, he moved up to the light heavyweight class. His last professional boxing match was in 2013. He finished his professional career with 16 wins and 10 losses. One of his last fights was against Sergei "Krusher" Kovalev. Fogle lost that fight in the second round.
