Jun Ando (安藤 淳, Andō Jun, born 8 October 1984 in Shiga) is a retired Japanese footballer. He played as a centre back or a defensive midfielder. His last team was Kyoto Sanga FC.

Jun Ando's Football Journey
Jun Ando, whose full Japanese name is 安藤 淳 (Andō Jun), was born in Shiga, Japan. He started his football journey in youth teams. He played for Shizuoka Gakuen High School from 2000 to 2002. Later, he joined Kansai University from 2003 to 2006.
Playing for Kyoto Sanga FC
Ando began his professional career in 2007 with Kyoto Sanga FC. He played for this team for seven years. During this time, he was a key player. He appeared in 179 league games and scored 11 goals. In 2011, his team was the runner-up in the Emperor's Cup, a major football tournament in Japan.
Moving to Other Teams
After his time at Kyoto Sanga, Ando joined Cerezo Osaka in 2014. He played there for two seasons. In 2015, he moved to Matsumoto Yamaga FC, where he stayed until 2017. He then played for Ehime FC in 2018.
Returning to Kyoto Sanga
In 2019, Jun Ando returned to his former club, Kyoto Sanga FC. He played for them for two more seasons. He continued to be an important part of the team.
Retirement from Football
After playing professional football for more than ten years in Japan's J. League, Jun Ando decided to retire. He ended his playing career at the end of the 2020 season.
