About Junko Mori
Junko Mori grew up in Niigata Prefecture, Japan. She loved music and decided to study it at the Tokyo National University of Fine Arts and Music. She earned her first degree in music in 1971.
She continued her studies, focusing on how to create music. She learned from famous composers like Tomojiro Ikenouchi, Akio Yashiro, and Teizo Matsumura. Junko Mori earned two master's degrees: one in composition in 1975, and another in music history and ear training in 1978. After finishing her studies, she began her career as a music teacher and a composer.
