Jupiter Award (science fiction award) facts for kids
The Jupiter Awards were special prizes given to amazing writers in the world of science fiction. These awards celebrated the best stories in different lengths: long novels, medium-length novellas, shorter novelettes, and very short stories. They were given out almost every year from 1974 to 1978. A group of teachers who taught science fiction in colleges, called the "Instructors of Science Fiction in Higher Education," decided who won these awards.
