Július Bielik (born March 8, 1962) is a former football player from Slovakia. He was a strong defender who played for famous clubs like Sparta Prague in Czechoslovakia and Sanfrecce Hiroshima in Japan. He also proudly represented his country, Czechoslovakia, in 18 international matches. He was part of the team that played in the 1990 FIFA World Cup.

Playing Career Highlights
Július Bielik started his football journey with Spartak Trnava. He played there from 1979 to 1982. After that, he moved to one of the biggest clubs in Czechoslovakia, Sparta Prague.
Success with Sparta Prague
At Sparta Prague, Bielik became a very successful player. He helped his team win the Czechoslovak First League title seven times! These wins happened in the seasons: 1983–84, 1984–85, 1986–87, 1987–88, 1988–89, 1989–90, and 1990–91. He played 247 games for Sparta Prague and scored 7 goals.
Playing in Japan
After many years of success in Czechoslovakia, Bielik moved to Japan in 1991. He joined Sanfrecce Hiroshima, where he played for a season. He played 20 games and scored 1 goal there.
Return to Homeland
In 1994, Július Bielik returned to his home country. He continued to play top-level football for two more clubs. He played for Union Cheb and then for Hradec Králové. He played 36 games for Union Cheb, scoring 3 goals, and 18 games for Hradec Králové.
National Team Appearances
Július Bielik also played for the Czechoslovakia national team. He played 18 matches for his country between 1983 and 1990. One of his biggest achievements was playing in the 1990 FIFA World Cup, which is a huge tournament for national teams.
Coaching Career
After he stopped playing football, Július Bielik became a coach. He managed two different football clubs. He coached FK Viktoria Žižkov from 1997 to 1998. Later, in 1999, he coached FK Jablonec.
