Kaffrine is a region located in the central part of Senegal, a country in West Africa. The main city and capital of this region is also called Kaffrine.

In 2013, about 544,011 people lived in the Kaffrine Region. It covers an area of about 11,262 square kilometers (4,348 square miles). The Kaffrine Region was officially created in 2008.
