Kaleva Hall is a special building in Virginia, Minnesota. It was built around 1906. This hall served as a meeting place for Finnish Americans, people from Finland who moved to the United States.

For many years, a group called the Valon Tuote society used the hall. This society encouraged people to live healthy lives. They believed in community and education. Later, the Knights and Ladies of Kaleva took over the building.

Kaleva Hall is important because it helped Finnish Americans stay connected to their culture. It was a place for learning, fun, and social gatherings. In 1980, the building was added to the National Register of Historic Places. This means it is a historically important site in the United States. It was recognized for its role in education, entertainment, and social history.

The roof of Kaleva Hall is quite steep. It slopes down on all sides. Above the main entrance, there is a special roof shape. It looks a bit like a squared-off bell. You can also see fancy brick designs near the roof's edge. These designs add a decorative touch to the building.
