Kamal's Early Life
Kamal Ibrahim was born in Limerick, Ireland. His father was from Nigeria, and his mother was from Italy. Through his mother, Kamal is a cousin of the American actor Danny DeVito. He went to J.F.K Memorial for primary school. Later, he finished his secondary education at Ardscoil Ris, an all-boys Catholic school.
When he was 15, Kamal joined the Irish Defence Forces. This was a part-time role, and he served for nine years. He was a private in the artillery and air defense unit until 2009.
At 18, he started studying Electronic Engineering at Limerick Institute of Technology. However, he left college to pay for flight lessons. By the age of 19, he earned his private pilot's license.
