Kandace Wilson was born in Los Angeles, California. She grew up there before starting her amazing soccer journey.
Playing for Cal State Fullerton
Kandace went to Cal State Fullerton for college. She played soccer for the Cal State Fullerton Titans team. She was a very strong player and was chosen for the All-Big West Conference First Team three times. This means she was one of the best players in her college league. In 2005, during her final year, she was even named the Big West Co-Offensive Player of the Year. This award recognized her skill in helping her team score goals.
Professional Soccer Career
Kandace Wilson became a professional soccer player after college. She played for several teams in different leagues.
Joining FC Gold Pride
In 2008, Kandace was chosen by FC Gold Pride in the professional soccer draft. She quickly became a starting player for the team. However, in May 2009, she had a hip injury during a game. This injury meant she could not play for the rest of that season.
Playing for Western New York Flash
In 2011, Kandace joined the Western New York Flash team. This was their first year in the Women's Professional Soccer league. Kandace helped her team have a fantastic season. The Western New York Flash went on to win the league championship that year!
Moving to Sky Blue FC
