Karina Lombard (born January 21, 1969) is an actress from Tahiti. She is famous for her roles as Isabel Two in the movie Legends of the Fall, as Chief Nonhelema in the TV series Timeless, and as Marina Ferrer in The L Word. She has also appeared in other well-known films like Wide Sargasso Sea and The Firm. You might also recognize her from TV shows such as CSI: Crime Scene Investigation, CSI: NY, and NCIS.

Karina Lombard's Acting Journey
Karina Lombard's career began with modeling. A photoshoot with a "Native American" theme helped her get noticed. Later, one of her photos was used on a billboard, which led to her first acting opportunity. Her modeling pictures have been featured in popular magazines like Elle and Vogue.
To improve her acting skills, Lombard studied in New York City. She attended the Lee Strasberg Theatre Institute and the Actors Studio. She also gained experience by performing in plays at the Gallery Theatre and Neighborhood Playhouse.
First Film Roles
Karina Lombard's very first film role was as a princess in a movie called L'île (which means The Island). In 1993, she got her first big role as Antoinette Cosway. This character was a rich Jamaican heiress in the film Wide Sargasso Sea. This movie was based on a book by Jean Rhys.
She also had supporting roles in two other major films. These were The Firm in 1993 and Legends of the Fall in 1994. In 1996, she starred alongside Bruce Willis in the movie Last Man Standing.
Moving to Television
In the 2000s, Karina Lombard started working more in television. She appeared in the TV show The 4400. She also played Marina Ferrer, a restaurant owner, in the first season of The L Word. Later, she had a recurring role as Geneviève on the FX show Rescue Me.
