Karoli Hindriks (born in 1983) is a smart Estonian businesswoman. In 2014, she started a company called Jobbatical. This company helps people find jobs and move to new countries. When she was only 16, Karoli created special fabric reflectors for people to wear. These helped them be seen in the dark. Later, in 2007, she became the boss (CEO) of MTV Estonia, a music TV channel.

Karoli Hindriks was born on June 17, 1983. She was born in a town called Kohtla-Järve in Estonia. Karoli grew up in Pärnu and went to high school there. In 2008, she finished her studies at the Estonian Business School in Tallinn. She earned a degree in International Business Administration.

Youngest Inventor

When Karoli was 16, she joined a school fashion project. This project gave her an idea for a new invention. She created a soft reflector that people could wear. It could be part of their clothes or even jewelry. Her father encouraged her to protect her idea. She successfully got a patent for her invention. This made her the youngest inventor in Estonia!

Leading MTV Estonia

In 2006, Karoli helped start MTV in Estonia. She worked in marketing and public relations for MTV in the Baltic countries. Just six months after MTV Estonia launched, Karoli became its CEO. She was only 23 years old! This made her the youngest MTV CEO ever. From 2009, she also helped Fox bring their TV channels to Estonia and other Baltic States. She successfully launched seven TV channels in total.

Starting Jobbatical

In 2012, Karoli attended a special program in California. It was at a place called Singularity University. There, she got the idea to start Jobbatical. This company would connect talented people from around the world with companies looking to hire them. Jobbatical was founded in 2014. The company quickly grew very popular. It helped over 100,000 people from more than 50 countries.

In 2022, Jobbatical changed its main focus. It moved from being a platform for moving to new places to an immigration platform. This means it helps make the process of moving for work easier and more digital. To help with this, Jobbatical raised 11.6 million Euros.
