Kathleen Dale (born June 29, 1895, died March 3, 1984) was a talented English musician. She was a translator, a music expert (musicologist), a composer, and a pianist.

Her Journey in Music

Kathleen Richards was born in England. She learned music from famous teachers like York Bowen and Fanny Davies. In 1921, she married Benjamin Dale. He was also a pianist, composer, and teacher. After marriage, she became known as Kathleen Dale. From 1925 to 1931, she taught music at the Matthay School. She also took part in radio concerts between 1927 and 1931. Kathleen became a well-known music expert and composer. She wrote many professional articles about music and its history. She also published two books under the name Kathleen Dale. One of these was a book about the famous composer Johannes Brahms in 1970. She wrote chapters for a special book series called 'Symposium'. These chapters were about the piano music of Handel, Schubert, Schumann, and Grieg. She also studied the works of Ethel Smyth.
