Katlego Danke (born 7 November 1978) is a famous South African actress. She is also a radio DJ and a TV presenter. Katlego is from the Tswana group. She is well-known for playing many roles in South African TV shows. Some of these shows include Backstage, Generations, Gomora, and Isidingo.

Early Life
Katlego Danke was born on 7 November 1978. She grew up in the North West province of South Africa. As a child, she lived in different towns. These towns included Mahikeng, Ga-Rankuwa, Mabopane, and Potchefstroom.
Acting Career
Before becoming a TV star, Katlego performed in theatre plays. She studied Theatre and Performance at the University of Cape Town. She finished her degree in 2001. Katlego is famous for her stage roles in plays like Beyond the Veil and King Lear. She also performed in the opera Macbeth.
In 2002, Katlego started acting on TV. She joined the e.tv show Backstage. From 2006, she appeared on Generations. For her role on Generations, she won a best actress award. This award was from the South African Film and Television Awards.
Katlego has also appeared in TV adverts. She was in commercials for brands like Vanish, Clover, and Honda. In 2010, she completed a diploma in Management Studies. Later, in 2015, she became a brand ambassador. This meant she helped promote Philips Avent, a big international baby products company.
After leaving Generations in 2016, Katlego joined another South African TV show. She started playing the character Kgothalo in Isidingo. Isidingo finished its long run on 12 March 2020. Before Isidingo ended, it was announced that Katlego would star in a new show. This new show is called Gomora. It is a TV drama series on the Mzansi Magic channel. In 2023, she took a break from Gomora because she was expecting a baby.

In 2010, Katlego won the best actress award. This was at the South Africa Film and TV Awards (SAFTAS). She won for her role as "Dineo Mashaba" on Generations.
She was also nominated for other awards. In 2004, she was nominated for Best Screen Villain at the Duku-Duku Awards. In 2009, she was nominated for Best Dressed Actress at the South African Film and TV Awards.
