Kavango East facts for kids
Kavango East is a special area, or region, in the country of Namibia. Its main city and capital is called Rundu. This region was formed in 2013. Before that, it was part of a larger area known as the Kavango Region. It was split into two new regions: Kavango East and Kavango West. Kavango East also includes the western part of a narrow piece of land called the Caprivi Strip.

Kavango East is divided into smaller parts called constituencies. These are like local districts or areas within the region. Each constituency helps manage local services and represents the people living there. There are six constituencies in Kavango East:

- Mukwe
- Ndiyona
- Ndonga Linena
- Rundu Rural
- Rundu Urban
