Kazuaki Koezuka (肥塚 一晃, Koezuka Kazuaki, born February 10, 1967) is a former Japanese football player. He played as a Midfielder for several clubs in Japan.
Football Career
Kazuaki Koezuka was born in Osaka Prefecture, Japan, on February 10, 1967. After finishing his studies at Tenri University, he joined a local football team. This team was called Matsushita Electric in 1989. Later, this club became known as Gamba Osaka.
Early Success
In 1990, Kazuaki Koezuka became a regular player for Matsushita Electric. He played as a midfielder. That same year, his team achieved a big win. They won the Emperor's Cup. This was a very important football competition in Japan. It was the first major trophy for the club.
Later Career
By 1993, Kazuaki Koezuka did not play as much for Gamba Osaka. So, in 1994, he decided to move to a different team. He joined Kyoto Purple Sanga. This club was part of the Japan Football League. He played 23 games for Kyoto Purple Sanga and scored 2 goals. At the end of the 1994 season, Kazuaki Koezuka decided to stop playing professional football.
