Kazuyuki Toda (戸田 和幸, Toda Kazuyuki, born 30 December 1977) is a Japanese football manager. He used to be a professional footballer. He played as a midfielder or a defender. Toda also played for the Japan national team until 2002.

Kazuyuki Toda's Football Journey
Playing for Clubs
Kazuyuki Toda started his football journey in 1996. He joined Shimizu S-Pulse after high school. He played as a left defender for many matches. His team won the 1999–2000 Asian Cup Winners' Cup.
In 2001, he changed his position to defensive midfielder. Shimizu S-Pulse then won the 2001 Emperor's Cup. In 2003, Toda went to England. He played for Tottenham Hotspur on loan. He played only four games there.
In 2004, he moved to a club in the Netherlands, ADO Den Haag. Later that year, he returned to Shimizu S-Pulse. In 2005, he joined Tokyo Verdy. When Tokyo Verdy moved down to the J2 League, Toda moved to Sanfrecce Hiroshima in 2006.
His playing time became less in 2008. He then moved to JEF United Chiba in June 2008. Towards the end of his career, he played for several other teams. These included Gyeongnam, Thespa Kusatsu, FC Machida Zelvia, and Warriors. He stopped playing football at the end of the 2013 season.
Managing a Team
On November 14, 2022, Kazuyuki Toda became the manager of J3 League club SC Sagamihara. He managed the team for the 2023 season. In June 2024, he was no longer the manager. This happened after the 17th match of the season. The team was in 9th place at that time.
Playing for Japan
Youth National Teams
In August 1993, Toda was chosen for the Japan U17 national team. He played in the 1993 FIFA U-17 World Championship. He played in all four matches for the team.
In June 1997, he was also picked for the Japan U20 national team. This was for the 1997 FIFA World Youth Championship. He played every minute of all five matches. He played as a left defender in a three-back defense.
Senior National Team
In February 2001, Toda was selected for the Japan national team. This was for the 2001 FIFA Confederations Cup. He played his first game for Japan on May 31 against Canada.
He played four matches as a defensive midfielder in this tournament. Japan finished in second place. After this, he played most matches for Japan until the 2002 FIFA World Cup. At the 2002 World Cup, he played all 90 minutes in all four matches. He played as a defensive midfielder alongside Junichi Inamoto. He played 20 games and scored 1 goal for Japan until 2002.
