Keigo Higashi has played for several football clubs in Japan. He started his professional career with Oita Trinita.
Youth Teams
Higashi played for Wakamatsu Junior High School from 2003 to 2005. After that, he joined the youth team of Oita Trinita from 2006 to 2008. This is where he developed many of his football skills.
Professional Clubs
Keigo Higashi began his senior career with Oita Trinita in 2009. He played there for two years, appearing in 52 matches and scoring 8 goals.
In 2011, he moved to Omiya Ardija. He spent two seasons with this club, playing 53 games and scoring 9 goals.
Since 2013, Keigo Higashi has been playing for FC Tokyo. He has played many matches for them, becoming a very important part of the team. As of November 2022, he had played 284 games and scored 18 goals for FC Tokyo.
National Team Career
Keigo Higashi has also represented Japan on the international stage. He played for the Japan U23 team.
