Keiji Yoshimura (吉村 圭司, Yoshimura Keiji, born August 8, 1979) is a former Japanese football player. He played as a Midfielder, which means he was usually in the middle of the field. His older brother, Koji, was also a professional football player.

Playing Career

Keiji Yoshimura was born in Sakawa, Kochi on August 8, 1979. He played for the youth team of Ehime FC from 1995 to 1997. After finishing university at Aichi Gakuin University, he joined a top Japanese football team called Nagoya Grampus Eight in 2002. This team plays in the J1 League, which is the highest level of professional football in Japan.

By 2003, Keiji became a regular player for Nagoya Grampus. He was a defensive midfielder, helping to protect his team's goal and win the ball back. He played many matches for the team over several years.

In 2009, his team, Nagoya Grampus, reached the final of the Emperor's Cup, a big football tournament in Japan. They finished in second place. In 2010, even though Keiji didn't play as much, Nagoya Grampus won the J1 League championship. This was the first time in the club's history that they won the J1 League title!

In 2013, Keiji Yoshimura moved to Ehime FC, a team in the J2 League, which is the second division of Japanese football. He had played for Ehime FC's youth team earlier in his career. He continued to play many games as a defensive midfielder for Ehime FC. However, in 2015, he didn't play as often. Keiji Yoshimura decided to retire from professional football at the end of the 2015 season.
