Kelim is a small place in Larimer County, in the U.S. state of Colorado. It's known as an unincorporated community. This means it doesn't have its own local government, like a mayor or city council. Instead, the area is looked after by the county government.
The Story of Kelim
Kelim was named after an early settler in the area, Lee J. Kelim. A post office was opened in Kelim in 1915, which helped people send and receive mail. However, this post office only stayed open for about ten years, closing down in 1925.
