Kelli Evon Williams was born in June 1978 in Nashville, Tennessee. Her parents are Eddie and Carolyn Williams. Kelli started singing professionally when she was just ten years old. When she was 15, in 1993, she appeared on a TV show called Star Search. Kelli showed off her amazing talent and won the competition!
Her Music Journey
Kelli Williams' music career officially began in 1995. That year, she released her first album, Kelli Williams, with Sony Music Entertainment.
Her second album, I Get Lifted, was released on February 17, 1998. This album was a big success! It was released by Word Records and Epic Records. I Get Lifted reached No. 35 on the Billboard magazine Gospel Albums chart. This was a major achievement for Kelli.
She continued to make music, releasing her album In the Myx on July 4, 2000. This album was also released with Word Records and Epic Records.
Personal Life
Kelli Williams-Malcolm is married to Royce Edward Malcolm. They live in Portland, Tennessee. Kelli and Royce have a son named Bentley Edward Malcolm, who was born in May 2003.
