History of Kelly
Kelly started to grow when a railway line was built through the area. This railway was called the Kansas City, Wichita and Northwestern Railway.
A post office opened in Kelly in 1888. It helped people send and receive mail for many years. The post office stayed open for exactly 100 years. It closed down in 1988.
