Kelly Kelekidou's Music Journey

Kelly Kelekidou grew up in Greece, in places called Kokkinohoma and Hamilo. After finishing high school, she started studying business and nursing. But her real passion was music! She spent four years learning how to sing at a special school in Thessaloniki. She also studied Byzantine music for a year.

Starting Her Career

Soon after her training, Kelly began singing in clubs in Thessaloniki. In 2005, she signed with a big music company called Sony Music Greece. She released her first album, which was named Kelly Kelekidou. This album became quite popular, reaching number 16 on the music charts in Greece.

The first song from her album was "Glyka Glyka Glykia Mou." It was a new version of an old Greek folk song. This song became a big hit! In the same year, she performed in Athens with other famous singers, Christos Dantis and Nikos Kourkoulis.

New Albums and Success

In late 2006, Kelly started performing with Nikos Kourkoulis again. That year, she released her second album, called Sygkentrosou. This album also did well, reaching number 11 on the Greek music charts.

In the summer of 2007, Kelly performed with Dionisis Makris and Kostas Martakis. Later that year, in November, she released a special CD single called "Se Thelo Me Trela."
