Kendall Grove (born November 12, 1982) is an American mixed martial artist. He is known for his exciting fights and his tall, "spyder-like" reach. Kendall has competed in many top fighting organizations like the UFC and Bellator MMA. He also won The Ultimate Fighter 3, a popular TV show where fighters compete for a contract. Currently, he competes in Bare Knuckle Fighting Championship.

Early Life and Training
Kendall Grove was born in Wailuku, Maui, Hawaii. He went to Baldwin High School in Wailuku, where he was a wrestler and played football. Kendall has a mixed background, including Native Hawaiian, Samoan, Spanish, and Native American heritage.
He started training in Brazilian jiu-jitsu during his first year of high school. In 2002, he moved to Las Vegas to focus on this sport. However, he soon became very interested in mixed martial arts (MMA) and began training in all parts of the sport.
Kendall Grove's MMA Career
Kendall Grove started his professional MMA career in 2003. He quickly became known for his exciting fighting style.
The Ultimate Fighter TV Show
Kendall became famous when he joined The Ultimate Fighter 3 TV show. On the show, he trained with famous fighter Tito Ortiz. Kendall won his first fight against Ross Pointon with a submission move called a rear-naked choke. In the semi-finals, he won against Kalib Starnes.
In the finals, Kendall faced Ed Herman. He won the fight by a unanimous decision, meaning all the judges agreed he was the winner. This big win earned him a contract with the Ultimate Fighting Championship (UFC).
Fighting in the UFC
After winning The Ultimate Fighter, Kendall Grove joined the UFC. In his first fight in October 2006, he defeated Chris Price. Kendall won by submission in the first round.
He trained with top fighters like Tito Ortiz and Randy Couture. In April 2007, Kendall faced Alan Belcher at UFC 69. Kendall won this fight with a D'Arce choke, which was the first time this move was used to win in UFC history!
Kendall had some tough fights in the UFC. He lost to Patrick Côté and Jorge Rivera. However, he bounced back with a win against Evan Tanner in June 2008. He also defeated Jason Day by TKO. Kendall later won against Jake Rosholt with a triangle choke.
One of his most exciting fights was against Mark Muñoz at UFC 112. This fight was so good that it won the "Fight of the Night" award. Kendall fought Goran Reljic and won by a split decision. After a few more fights, Kendall left the UFC in 2011.
Competing in Other Promotions
After the UFC, Kendall Grove continued his career in other fighting organizations.
ProElite Fights
He fought Joe Riggs at ProElite 1 and won with a guillotine choke in less than a minute. He also won against Ikuhisa Minowa at ProElite 3.
Independent and International Fights
Kendall fought in various independent shows. He won the ShoFight Middleweight Championship by defeating Derek Brunson. He also competed in KSW, a big organization in Poland. He faced tough opponents like Mamed Khalidov and Michał Materla there.
Bellator MMA Career
In 2013, Kendall joined Bellator MMA. He won his first fight against Joe Vedepo. He later defeated Christian M'Pumbu and Joey Beltran. Kendall also had a big knockout win against Francisco France. He fought for the Bellator Middleweight Championship against Brandon Halsey but lost. Kendall continued to fight in Bellator until 2018.
Bare Knuckle Boxing
After his time in Bellator, Kendall Grove decided to try a new sport: bare knuckle boxing. He signed with Bare Knuckle FC. In his first fight in August 2018, he won against Bruce Abramski. He has since competed in a few more bare knuckle fights.
Personal Life
Kendall Grove is a family man. He and his wife, Anna, have six children together. They have two sons and four daughters.
