In 2010, about 4,124 people lived in Kenmar. By 2020, the population grew slightly to 4,241 people.

- To the north, you'll find Four Mile Drive.
- To the west, there's Miller Run and another CDP called Faxon.
- To the south, you'll see Interstate 180, a major highway.
- To the east, Kenmar is next to Loyalsock Creek and the small town of Montoursville.
Kenmar is located just east of Faxon. There used to be a CDP named "East Faxon" in the area, but it was no longer counted as a separate CDP after the 1990 Census.
