Kennedy Rashod Meeks (born February 5, 1995) is an American professional basketball player. He currently plays for the Hsinchu Toplus Lioneers in the Taiwan Professional Basketball League (TPBL). Before becoming a professional, he played college basketball for the University of North Carolina. Kennedy is from Charlotte, North Carolina.

High School Basketball Journey
Kennedy Meeks went to West Charlotte High School. During his senior year, he was a star player. He averaged 19 points, 16 rebounds, and 3 blocks per game. In 2013, he was chosen for the McDonald's All-America team. This is a special honor for the best high school basketball players in the country.
College Basketball Career
Kennedy Meeks played college basketball for the North Carolina Tar Heels. He played for four years, from 2013 to 2017.
Freshman Year (2013–14)
In his first year, Kennedy played about 16 minutes per game. He scored 7.6 points and grabbed 6.1 rebounds on average. His great performance earned him a spot on the ACC All-Freshman team. After this season, he worked hard to get stronger and fitter.
Sophomore Year (2014–15)
During his second year, Kennedy was recognized as an honorable mention All-ACC player. He was a key player, averaging 11.6 points and leading his team with 7.4 rebounds per game. He unfortunately sprained his left knee during the NCAA Tournament.
Junior Year (2015–16)
As a junior, Kennedy had an amazing game against Temple University, scoring a career-high 25 points. He also scored 23 points in a win against NC State. He had another knee injury that kept him out for two weeks. When he returned, he helped his team reach the National Championship game. They lost that game in a very close finish.
Senior Year (2016–17)
In his final college season, Kennedy helped the Tar Heels reach the NCAA championship game for the second year in a row. This time, they won! He grabbed 10 rebounds in the final game against the Gonzaga Bulldogs, helping his team win 71–65. Kennedy also set a new school record for the most rebounds in an NCAA tournament.
Professional Basketball Career
After college, Kennedy Meeks started his professional basketball journey.
Raptors 905 (2017–2018)
Even though he wasn't chosen in the 2017 NBA draft, Kennedy joined the Toronto Raptors for their Summer League team. He later played for the Raptors 905, which is a team connected to the Raptors.
Playing in Japan (2018–2020)
Kennedy then moved to Japan to play basketball.
- From 2018 to 2019, he played for the SeaHorses Mikawa in the Japanese B.League.
- In 2019, he briefly joined the Charlotte Hornets for the Summer League.
- From 2019 to 2020, he played for Levanga Hokkaido, also in Japan's B.League.
Playing in South Korea (2020–2021)
In December 2020, Kennedy signed with the Seoul Samsung Thunders in the South Korean KBL. There, he reunited with his former college teammate, Isaiah Hicks.
Playing in France (2021–2022)
In September 2021, Kennedy Meeks signed with Cholet Basket in France, playing in the LNB Pro A league.
Playing in Taiwan (2023–Present)
Kennedy Meeks has continued his career in Taiwan.
- From 2023 to 2024, he played for the Taoyuan Pauian Pilots in the P.League+.
- Since October 2024, he has been playing for the Hsinchu Toplus Lioneers in the Taiwan Professional Basketball League (TPBL).
