Kenneth Bjerre's Speedway Journey
Kenneth started his speedway career in Poland in 2001. The next year, he began racing in Great Britain for the Newcastle Diamonds. Over the years, he became a top rider for teams like Belle Vue Aces and Peterborough Panthers. He raced for many different clubs in Denmark, Great Britain, Poland, and Sweden throughout his career.
In 2008, Kenneth won the GP Challenge. This important win meant he earned a permanent spot in the Speedway Grand Prix series for the 2009 season. The Grand Prix is like the "Formula 1" of speedway, where the best riders from around the world compete for the individual world championship.
He continued to do well in the Grand Prix, finishing 8th in 2009 and 7th in both 2010 and 2011. In 2010, he even won a Grand Prix event in Sweden! After 2012, he took a break from the main Grand Prix series.
Kenneth kept racing in the UK for teams like Peterborough Panthers and King's Lynn Stars. In 2017, he rode for Belle Vue again. In 2019, he achieved a big goal by becoming the champion of Denmark, winning the Danish Individual Speedway Championship.
