Kenny Joelle Tete (born 9 October 1995) is a Dutch professional footballer. He plays as a right-back for the English club Fulham.

Club Career
Playing for Ajax
Kenny Tete was born in Amsterdam, Netherlands. He started playing football at a young age. He joined the famous Ajax Academy in 2005 when he was 10 years old.
In the 2011–12 season, Tete played for the Ajax B1 team. This is the second-highest youth level at the academy. He helped his team win the B-Juniors Eredivisie title. On 20 July 2012, he signed his first professional contract with Ajax.
Tete played for the Ajax A1 youth team for a year. Then, he got his first chance with the main team. This was during a training camp in Austria. He played his first match for the senior team in a friendly game on 29 June 2013.
He made his official professional debut in the Eerste Divisie. This is the second-highest football league in the Netherlands. He played for Jong Ajax, which is Ajax's reserve team. His first game was on 5 August 2013 against Telstar.
Tete made his debut for the main Ajax team in an official match in February 2015. He played in a game against AZ Alkmaar. Overall, he played 55 matches for Ajax. He also helped them reach the Europa League Final in 2017.
Moving to Lyon

On 10 July 2017, Tete moved to the French club Lyon. He scored his first goal for Lyon on 19 August 2017. This was in a 3–3 draw against Bordeaux in the Ligue 1 league.
Tete played 82 matches for Lyon over three years. He was an important player when Lyon reached the semi-finals of the UEFA Champions League. This happened during the 2019–20 season.
Joining Fulham

On 10 September 2020, Kenny Tete joined Fulham. Fulham is a club in the Premier League, England's top football league. He signed a four-year contract.
Tete made his first appearance for Fulham in a 1–0 win. This was against Ipswich Town in the EFL Cup. He scored his first goal for Fulham on 11 January 2022. It was in a big 7–0 win against Reading.
In the first match of the 2022–23 Premier League season, Tete helped Fulham. He gave an assist for the opening goal in a 2–2 draw against Liverpool.
International Career

Kenny Tete has also played for the Netherlands national teams. On 25 October 2011, he played his first game for the Netherlands Under-17 team. They won 3–0 against Bosnia and Herzegovina. He played in the qualifying rounds for the UEFA European Under-17 Championship. However, he was not in the final team that won the championship in 2012.
He also played for the Netherlands Under-19 team in 2013. He played in all three group matches of the 2013 UEFA European Under-19 Championship.
Tete was first called up to the senior Netherlands team in August 2015. He played his first match for the national team on 10 October against Kazakhstan.

Kenny Tete was born and grew up in Amsterdam. His father is from Beira, Mozambique, and his mother is from Nias, Indonesia. His father, Miguel Tete, moved to the Netherlands when he was young. Miguel Tete is a former European heavyweight kickboxing champion. He works at The Bulldog in downtown Amsterdam.
