Discovering Kerlin Gallery's Story
The Kerlin Gallery first opened its doors in 1988. It has been showing amazing art for many years. In 1994, the gallery moved into its current building. This building was specially designed to show art. It has a large space for artworks. The gallery has 3,600 square feet of space. This area is spread out over two floors.
A Recognized Art Space
The gallery is well-known in the art world. In 2015, a website called Artnet listed it. They said it was one of "Europe’s Top 55 Galleries." This shows how important the Kerlin Gallery is.
Giving Back to Art
In 2018, the gallery made a special gift. They gave many artworks to the Irish Museum of Modern Art. This helped more people see these works. It also made the museum's collection even better. The gallery is run by three directors. Their names are David Fitzgerald, Darragh Hogan, and John Kennedy.

In 2019, the gallery put on Shadowplay. This exhibition featured artists like Willie Doherty and Liam Gillick. The name of the show came from a song. It was a song by the band Joy Division. In 2021, the gallery showed art by Lawrence Weiner. He is a very important conceptual artist. Conceptual art is about ideas more than just pretty pictures.
