Kern's is a food company that makes yummy drinks! It's based in Heredia, a city in Costa Rica. A big company called FIFCO owns Kern's. Kern's also has a part of its business in the United States, located in Santa Ana, California. Many of their drinks for the US market are made in Mexico.

What Kern's Makes

Kern's is most famous for its Kern's Nectar drinks. These are sweet fruit drinks that are not fizzy (they don't have bubbles). They use real fruit puree to give them their great taste. Kern's Nectar comes in many different flavors, especially ones made from tropical fruits. In the United States, Kern's also makes other popular Mexican drinks like agua frescas and horchata.

Kern's History

The Kern's company started a long time ago, in 1889. It grew quite a bit in the 1920s and officially became a company in 1932. Later, in 1985, a very large food company called Nestlé bought Kern's. Then, in 2006, Kern's was sold again to the company that owns it today, FIFCO.
