Kerry Burt is an American politician from the Democratic Party. He served in the Iowa House of Representatives, representing the 21st District. He was elected in November 2008 and officially started his term on January 12, 2009. He chose not to run for re-election in 2010, and Anesa Kajtazovic took his place.

Early Life and Education
Kerry Burt attended Waterloo West High School in Waterloo, Iowa. After high school, he continued his education at the University of Iowa.
Sports Career
Before his time in politics, Kerry Burt was an athlete. He played professional football in the Arena Football League. In 1989, he was a player for the Maryland Commandos team.
Political Service
Kerry Burt began his political career by winning the election for the 21st District in the Iowa House of Representatives. He took office in January 2009. During his time as a state representative, he worked on issues important to the people of Iowa. He served one term and decided not to seek re-election in 2010.
