Kerry Vincent (born Flynn; 1 June 1945 – 2 January 2021) was a famous Australian baker and TV star. She was born in Wyalkatchem, Western Australia. Many people knew her as a judge on popular cooking shows like Food Network Challenge. She also helped start the yearly Oklahoma Sugar Art Show.

Her Amazing Career
Becoming a Cake Expert
Kerry Vincent was a very skilled cake designer. She wrote a book called Romantic Wedding Cakes in 2002. Her talent was recognized when she was added to the International Cake Exploration Societé (ICES) Sugarcraft Hall of Fame in 2004. This is a special honor for people who are experts in sugar art.
Bringing Fondant to America
Kerry Vincent played a big part in bringing fondant icing to the United States. Fondant is a type of sweet dough used to cover and decorate cakes. In 1989, she convinced a company called Pettinice to open a factory in Texas. This made it easier for bakers in America to get fondant.
TV Star and Judge
Kerry Vincent was often a judge on the TV show Food Network Challenge. This show was on the Food Network channel. She also hosted four special shows for Food Network. These shows highlighted the skills of winners from the Grand National Wedding Cake Competition.
In 2013, Kerry Vincent was a judge on The Great Australian Bake Off. This was a reality TV show where people competed in baking. In 2014, she hosted a show called Save My Bakery. On this show, she helped bakeries that were having trouble.
Teaching and Recognition
Kerry Vincent taught baking at different schools. For example, she taught at the El Atelier Del Azucar Bakery School in Peru. She also taught at the Macomb Culinary Institute in Michigan in 2004.
In 2008, Brides magazine featured Kerry Vincent's work. They called it "America's 50 Most Beautiful Cakes." This happened after the magazine's Wedding Style Director visited the Oklahoma Sugar Art Show.
Kerry Vincent passed away on January 2, 2021, at the age of 75.
