Kiah Morris (born March 14, 1976) is an American politician. She used to be a member of the Vermont House of Representatives. She represented the Democratic Party.

Kiah Morris was born in Chicago, Illinois. She studied at the University of Illinois, Urbana-Champaign. There, she earned a degree in Gender Studies. She also got a graduate degree from Roosevelt University.
Kiah Morris's Political Journey
Kiah Morris was first elected to the Vermont House of Representatives in 2014. She was elected alongside another representative, Mary A. Morrissey. They were both reelected in 2016 without anyone running against them.
Kiah Morris was the only African American woman serving in the state legislature at that time. In August 2018, she announced she would not run for reelection. This decision came after she and her family faced serious challenges. She resigned the next month. She also mentioned wanting to focus on her husband's health recovery.
Morris has also worked as a director for the Alliance for Community Transformations. This organization is based in Bennington.
