Kickapoo Tribal Center is a census-designated place (CDP) in Brown County, Kansas, United States, on the Kickapoo Indian Reservation. As of the 2020 census, the population was 177, making it the most populous location within the reservation.
Geography
Kickapoo Tribal Center is located in southwest Brown County in the southeastern part of the Kickapoo Reservation. It is 6 miles (10 km) west of Horton. According to the United States Census Bureau, the CDP has a total area of 1.9 square miles (5.0 km2), all land.

The 2020 United States census counted 177 people, 67 households, and 45 families in Kickapoo Tribal Center. The population density was 91.5 per square mile (35.3/km2). There were 73 housing units at an average density of 37.7 per square mile (14.6/km2). The racial makeup was 9.04% (16) white or European American (9.04% non-Hispanic white), 0.0% (0) black or African-American, 87.57% (155) Native American or Alaska Native, 0.0% (0) Asian, 0.0% (0) Pacific Islander or Native Hawaiian, 0.0% (0) from other races, and 3.39% (6) from two or more races. Hispanic or Latino of any race was 3.95% (7) of the population.
Of the 67 households, 34.3% had children under the age of 18; 26.9% were married couples living together; 41.8% had a female householder with no spouse or partner present. 28.4% of households consisted of individuals and 9.0% had someone living alone who was 65 years of age or older. The average household size was 2.7 and the average family size was 3.6. The percent of those with a bachelor’s degree or higher was estimated to be 7.3% of the population.
