Kiley Joy Gaffney is an Australian rock musician and artist. She is known for her powerful music and her work in theatre. Kiley also uses her voice to share her strong opinions on important topics.
Before she became a well-known musician, Kiley worked in different creative fields. She acted and sang in plays, and she also created performance art. In 1995, she signed with Warner (WEA), a big music company.
Kiley released two albums with Warner. The first was Bitter Fluff in August 1997. For this album, she wrote the songs and played most of the instruments herself. Her second album, Sweet Meat, came out in early 2001. For this one, Kiley wrote, produced, and played every part of the music.
After her music career, Kiley continued her education. She earned a special advanced degree called a PhD. Later, she worked as a professor at Queensland University of Technology, sharing her knowledge with students.
Kiley's Personal Life
Kiley Gaffney has been with Paul Curtis since 1994. Paul is a talent manager, which means he helps artists manage their careers. They met through Quan Yeomans, who is a member of the band Regurgitator. Quan was also signed to Warner, just like Kiley, and Paul managed him. Kiley and Paul have two children together.
