The Story of Kimberton
Kimberton was first settled a long time ago, in the late 1700s. For many years, it didn't have a name. Finally, in 1817, it was officially named Kimberton.

In 1796, a mill called Chrisman's Mill started working. A mill is a building where grain is ground into flour. This mill brought more people and activity to the small village. Chrisman's Mill operated for many years, until 1938. Today, this historic building is used as the town's post office.
