Kings Grove, Missouri facts for kids
Kings Grove was once a small town in Holt County, located in the U.S. state of Missouri. Today, it is known as an "extinct town," meaning it no longer exists as a populated place.
Kings Grove was established around 1850 by a person named John B. King. The town was named after him. A post office, which helped people send and receive mail, was opened in Kings Grove in 1875. However, it only stayed open for a few years, closing down in 1881. After the post office closed, the town eventually faded away.
