Kingscreek is a small, unincorporated community located in Champaign County, in the state of Ohio in the United States. An unincorporated community means it's a place with a shared identity but without its own local government.
History of Kingscreek
Kingscreek was first known as Kingston. Its first maps, showing how the community was planned out, were drawn around 1870. The name Kingscreek comes from a nearby stream called Kings Creek. A post office opened in Kingscreek in 1868. It helped people send and receive mail for many years before closing in 1909.
