Kids Encyclopedia Facts

Kita (北区, Kita-ku) is one of the 23 special wards of Tokyo, Japan. The population was 285,321 in 2015.

On 15 March 1947, the ward of Kita was formed by combining the wards of Ōji and Takinogawa.
