The Kite Museum (known as Malay: Muzium Layang-Layang in Malay) is a special place in Malacca City, Malacca, Malaysia. It's all about kites! The museum first opened its doors in September 1995. It was officially opened by the Chief Minister of Malacca at that time, Mohd Zin Abdul Ghani.
The museum is located on the upper floor of an old building. This building was once used by the Malacca City Council. It was built in the 1960s. People believe it stands on the remains of an even older Dutch building. On other floors of this same building, you can also find the People's Museum and the Beauty Museum.
