Klaus Huhn (born February 24, 1928 – died January 20, 2017) was a German sports journalist, a writer, and someone who helped manage sports organizations. He worked for a big newspaper in East Germany called Neues Deutschland. He was also in charge of the Sports Journalists group within the country's main Union of Journalists.
As a writer, Klaus Huhn focused on famous athletes from the history of East Germany. More recently, he wrote for people who felt nostalgic about East Germany.
He wrote several books about the famous cyclist Gustav-Adolf Schur. He also helped Schur write his autobiography. Some people thought this book was not very fair or balanced.

Klaus Huhn was born in Berlin in 1928. His family had communist beliefs. He went to secondary school in Berlin and Saalfeld.
In 1946, he started working for a newspaper called Deutsche Volkszeitung. This newspaper was connected to the Communist Party in the part of Germany controlled by the Soviet Union. Later, in 1954, he studied journalism by taking a course from Karl Marx University in Leipzig. In 1983, he earned a special degree in teaching from the German College of Physical Culture, also in Leipzig.
Klaus Huhn passed away on January 20, 2017, when he was 88 years old.
