What is Klik?
Klik is known for its fun and delicious chocolate treats. You can find Klik products in many countries around the world. These include Israel, North America, the United Kingdom, France, Australia, and Argentina.
In 2011, Klik was one of the top chocolate brands in Israel. It was the second most popular, holding about 11.4% of the chocolate market. The most popular brand at that time was Cow Chocolate.
History of Klik
Klik has been around for many years. From 1992 to 2003, a special line of Klik products was sold. These were called Glik. They were made for the Ultra-Orthodox community. These products had a special kosher certification. This meant they followed specific food rules.
Sometimes, companies change how they sell their products. In 2015 and 2016, Unilever, the company that owns Klik, changed some package sizes. The price stayed the same, but the amount of candy inside was less. This is sometimes called "shrinkflation."
In 2016, there was a quality issue with some products from Unilever's cereal factory. This problem affected sales of many Unilever items, including Klik candies.
