A Look at Klik's History

Special Products for the Ultra-Orthodox Community

Between 1992 and 2003, Klik sold some products under a different name called Glik. These Glik products were made especially for the Ultra-Orthodox Jewish community. They had a special kosher approval from a group called Edah HaChareidis. This meant the products followed strict Jewish dietary laws.

Changes in Package Sizes

In 2015 and 2016, Unilever, the company that owns Klik, faced some criticism. People noticed that the Klik packages were getting smaller, but the price stayed the same. This practice is sometimes called shrinkflation. It means you get less product for the same amount of money.

Health Concerns and Sales

In 2016, there was a health concern at one of Unilever's factories. This factory made cereals. Because of this problem, sales of many Unilever products, including Klik, went down for a while.
