About Fanta Kola Inglesa
This tasty drink was first created in 1912. It was made especially for the Peruvian market. Over the years, Fanta Kola Inglesa became a very well-known drink.
Its History
The brand was first owned by a person named Manuel A. Ventura. He was the one who created the drink. Later, in 1971, the recipe was sold to Mr. Enrique Heredia Alarcón. At that time, Mr. Heredia was the person who bottled Pepsi drinks in Peru. It was during his ownership that Fanta Kola Inglesa became super popular among Peruvians.
In 1997, a big change happened. The brand was sold to The Coca-Cola Company. This sale also included another drink called Agua San Luis, and it was for more than $30 million USD! Then, in 2013, the drink's name officially changed to Fanta Kola Inglesa, which is what it's called today.
