Kota Aoki (青木 孝太, Aoki Kōta, born April 27, 1987) is a former Japanese football player. He was born in Omihachiman, Japan. Aoki played as a forward, which is a player whose main job is to score goals. He spent his entire professional career playing for different clubs in Japan.

Kota Aoki's Club Football Journey
Kota Aoki started his professional football career in 2006. He joined a team called JEF United Chiba right after finishing high school. From 2007, he began playing in many matches for the team.
Playing for Different Teams
In 2009, Aoki moved to Fagiano Okayama on a temporary loan. There, he became a regular player, meaning he played in most of the games. After his loan, he returned to JEF United Chiba and played with them until 2011.
Later, in 2012, he played for Ventforet Kofu. Then, from 2013 to 2014, he joined Thespakusatsu Gunma. He played many matches for this team over two seasons. Kota Aoki decided to retire from professional football at the end of the 2014 season.
Representing Japan: National Team Career
Kota Aoki also had the chance to play for his country. In July 2007, he was chosen to be part of the Japan U-20 national team. This team competed in the 2007 FIFA U-20 World Cup.
U-20 World Cup Experience
During the 2007 U-20 World Cup, Aoki played in all four matches for Japan. This was a big achievement, as it meant he was one of the top young players in the country.
