Kozo Hosokawa (細川 浩三, born August 3, 1971) is a former Japanese football player. He played as a defender.
Early Life and Club Career
Kozo Hosokawa was born in Kyoto Prefecture, Japan, on August 3, 1971. After finishing his studies at Aoyama Gakuin University, he started his professional football journey.
In 1994, he joined Kyoto Purple Sanga. This team was part of the Japan Football League at the time. Kozo Hosokawa often played as a right or left back for the team.
His team, Kyoto Purple Sanga, did very well. In 1996, they were promoted to the J1 League. This is the top professional football league in Japan. Kozo Hosokawa played fewer games in 1996. He finished his playing career at the end of that season.
