Kristian Nairn is an actor and DJ from Lisburn, Northern Ireland. He was born on November 25, 1975. He is most famous for playing the character Hodor in the popular fantasy TV show Game of Thrones. This show was on from 2011 to 2014 and again in 2016. Kristian Nairn also played Wee John Feeney in the TV series Our Flag Means Death from 2022 to 2023.

Kristian Nairn's Career Journey
Kristian Nairn's role as Hodor in Game of Thrones was his very first acting job. This role helped him earn enough to buy a house for his mother. Besides acting, Kristian is also a talented DJ. He plays a type of electronic music called progressive house and trance. He used to be the main DJ at a club in Belfast.
Since Game of Thrones became popular, Nairn has traveled around as a DJ with a special show called "Rave of Thrones." For these shows, he uses music and costumes inspired by the TV series. He has also performed at big events, like opening for the famous DJs Dimitri Vegas & Like Mike in Belgium. He was also the DJ for the closing parties at BlizzCon in 2016 and 2018, which are huge events for video game fans. In 2018, Nairn appeared in an advertisement for a company called eToro. The ad featured the internet meme "HODL," which was inspired by his character Hodor.
Kristian Nairn is also a skilled guitarist. In June 2018, he even got to play backstage with the famous band Megadeth at a music festival in France. From 2022 to 2023, he played the main role of Wee John Feeney in the HBO series Our Flag Means Death.
