Kristopher Hugh Martin Schau, born on August 12, 1970, is a super creative person from Oslo, Norway. He's known for many things: being a musician, a TV host, a comedian, an author, and even a songwriter! He has made people laugh and think with his unique projects on radio and TV.

Kristopher Schau: TV, Radio, and Music

Kristopher Schau has been a part of many popular radio and TV shows. Some of his radio shows, often with his brother Alexander Schau, include XL, Karate, and Et Norge I Krig. On TV, he's been involved in shows like XLTV, Team Antonsen (2004), and De 7 dødssyndene (2007).

Besides his work in TV and radio, Kristopher is also a talented musician. He has played in several bands, such as Gartnerlosjen, Hurra Torpedo, Kåper Gjete, Sinsen, Reidar Roses Orkester, Datsun, Mongo Ninja, and The Dogs. He also wrote an underground comic book called Margarin. Later, he helped create the TV shows Dag and One Night with his friend Øystein Karlsen.

Exploring De 7 dødssyndene

In 2007, Kristopher Schau launched a TV show called De 7 dødssyndene, which means "The 7 Deadly Sins." In this show, he explored the idea of the seven deadly sins. Kristopher and his co-hosts, Øystein Karlsen and Morten Ståle Nilsen, shared information about the history of these sins and related topics.

Some people in Norway didn't like the show because of its topic. They protested and tried to get companies to stop advertising during the show. However, these protests didn't make the show less popular; in fact, many people continued to watch it!

Kristopher Schau's Unique Projects

Kristopher Schau is known for his unusual and interesting projects. One time, he lived in a brown Opel Rekord car for a whole week! This event was even shown on TV in daily parts.

Another famous project was called "Forfall" (which means decline in English). For this project, Kristopher spent an entire week trying to live as unhealthily as possible. The main idea was to show how quickly a person's health could change. He focused on eating unhealthy foods and smoking.

The "Forfall" Experiment

During the "Forfall" project, Kristopher was on display in a shop window in Oslo for the entire week. People could watch him live, and the project was also shown on TV and streamed online. By the end of the week, he had gained about 10 kilograms (22 pounds), and his cholesterol levels went up a lot. At one point, the temperature in the shop window was increased, and he almost got a heatstroke, so that part of the experiment had to be stopped. This project showed how quickly lifestyle choices can affect health.
