Krstel Petrevski began her professional football career in 2020. She was drafted by the Melbourne Demons.
Starting Strong with Melbourne
Krstel made her first AFLW appearance in 2020. This was a big moment for her. She played in a semi-final match. The game was against the GWS Giants. In 2021, Krstel had a fantastic start to the season. She kicked two goals in the very first game. This was against the Gold Coast Suns. Unfortunately, a serious hamstring injury cut her season short. She was only able to play two games that year.
Designing Special Jerseys
Beyond playing, Krstel is also a talented artist. In 2021, she designed a special jersey. This was the Indigenous guernsey for the Melbourne AFLW team. The team wore this unique design. They wore it when playing against Collingwood. Krstel also designed another Indigenous jersey. This one was for the Melbourne Storm rugby league team. They wore her design in a game against the Brisbane Broncos.
Moving to West Coast
In June 2022, Krstel moved to a new team. She was traded to the West Coast Eagles. Another player, Isabella Simmons, also joined her. At West Coast, Krstel played alongside her cousin. His name is Sam Petrevski-Seton. He plays for the men's AFL team. Krstel played for West Coast until the end of 2023. In December 2023, she was delisted from the team.
