Kunimitsu Sekiguchi (関口 訓充, Sekiguchi Kunimitsu, born 26 December 1985) is a Japanese football player. He is a midfielder who currently plays for Nankatsu SC. Sekiguchi was born in Tama, Tokyo, Japan.

Playing for Different Clubs
Kunimitsu Sekiguchi has played for several football clubs in Japan. He started his professional career with Vegalta Sendai in 2004. He played there for many years, until 2012.
Moving to New Teams
After his time at Vegalta Sendai, Sekiguchi joined Urawa Reds in 2013. He played for Urawa Reds for two seasons. Then, in 2015, he moved to Cerezo Osaka.
Returning to Vegalta Sendai
After the 2017 season, many thought Sekiguchi might stop playing football. However, he made a surprising announcement in April 2018. He decided to rejoin his old team, Vegalta Sendai. He played for them again until 2021.
Current Club
Since 2022, Kunimitsu Sekiguchi has been playing for Nankatsu SC. This team is known for being inspired by the famous Japanese football manga series, Captain Tsubasa.
Playing for Japan's National Team
Kunimitsu Sekiguchi also had the honor of playing for the Japanese national team. This means he represented his country in international matches.
International Debut
He played his first game for Japan on October 8, 2010. It was a friendly match against the Argentina national team. He played a total of three games for Japan between 2010 and 2011.
