Where the Kungkalenja Lived
Not much information has been kept about the Kungkalenja people. They lived north of the Karanja people and the town of Bedourie.
Expert Norman Tindale estimated their land covered about 2,700 square miles (7,000 km2) (about 7,000 square kilometers). This area was along the Georgina River. It stretched west from a place called Moorabulla towards the Mulligan River. Their land also included Sylvester Creek and a place known as Talaera Springs.
