George Kwabena Adu (born October 17, 1978), known to many as Kwabena Kwabena, is a talented Ghanaian musician and guitarist. He is also a skilled construction technician. His stage name, Kwabena Kwabena, actually shows his two main jobs. One "Kwabena" is for his work as a draftsman, and the other "Kwabena" is for his music as a modern highlife artist.

He first became well-known in 2004. This happened after he was featured on Kontihene's popular song called "Esi." Later, Kontihene was featured on Kwabena Kwabena's own first hit song, "Aso."

Kwabena Kwabena's Early Life

Kwabena Kwabena went to several schools when he was younger. For basic school, he attended Datus Complex in Bubuashie. He also went to Green Hill School in Achimota and Aggrey Junior Secondary School. After that, he continued his education at St. Peters Secondary School in Nkwatia Kwahu.

He started playing the guitar in church when he was just 14 years old. He even led the church choir, showing his musical talent early on. He spent time at Hush Hush studios, where he worked on different songs. This is how he met and was introduced to Hammer of the Last 2, a famous music producer.

Music Career and Success

Kwabena Kwabena's big break came in 2004. This was when he recorded his first album, which was titled "ASO." Three songs from this album were so good that they were used in the movie "The Perfect Picture" by Sparrow Productions. Some of his popular songs include "Ka kyere me," "Trodom," "Adea waye me," "Fakye me," and "Me ne woa."

In 2007, he released his second album, named "Dabi." Kwabena Kwabena cares a lot about helping others. He has a strong desire to do good work for his community in Ghana. This passion led him to create the KwabenaKwabena Save A Life Foundation. Through his career, Kwabena has won many awards. These include awards for best vocal performance and best songwriter.

His third album, "Daakye," came out in 2013. This album also had many hit songs. Some of these popular tracks were "Bue Kwan," "Adult Music," and "Bye Bye."

In 2023, Kwabena Kwabena shared some news in an interview. He said that he had gone back to school. He is now studying for a bachelor's degree at the University of Professional Studies, Accra.
